Mrs. Ward lives in Samson, Alabama, with her husband, daughter, and 4 sons. Prior to becoming a teacher, she worked for six years in the Mental Health/Mental Disabilities field. Her desire to become a high school teacher is rooted in a deep passion to help teens overcome their circumstances and have a better life. She says, "Teaching is a powerful platform that influences students' choices and plans for their future through education. I am honored to be a teacher."
